Toei Sonic | Personal Study

Made out of boredom... it's not perfect but I used to draw Sonic a lot like 4 or 5 years ago and wanted to see if I still got it... I guess so.

All of this was done with a mouse btw...

Finished Piece. Colouring took a good half an hour at least. I feel this could have been done better, but I feel it came out just fine. I decided to just add a still frame from Angel Island Zone (Sonic 3) and gave it some median blur

Solid Linework (Pre-Colour). This took no time at all, it was simply a case of carefully going over the sketch pass with a solid black brush/pen, as well as fixing up a few rough details.

Sketch Work. I went over the rough pass and refined it, altering and correcting proportions, changing the slight frown to a grin and changing up the pose a bit.
