Initially I drew this in my first more realistic style, with smooth tone and realistic anatomy. When it came to digitalising this character, I decided to take a different route, going for a more comic book style with exaggerated linework and harsh black shading, which was inspired by artists like Jim Lee or Steve Ditko, who drew comics with bold saturated colours and harsh shading utilising blocks of black and concise lines (his most prominent works are the classic Spider-Man comics from the 60s)
